I spent many hours in the shop and bought all of my fishing and hunting gear there, most of which I still have, creel, reel, split bamboo fly rod and a Remington 12 ga. pump shotgun. This was in the mid to late 1940's.

My dad, with me in tow, spent many a Saturday afternoon in this store. Their ski rentals consisted of WWII 10th Mountain Division surplus equipment. I got my first pair of skis, boots and poles (rentals) here.
